Three Reasons Why I Believe PPC is Best!

Three Reasons Why I Believe PPC is Best!

If you’ve ever wondered what is the benefit of affiliate marketing, there is only one answer in response to that. The unlimited marketing possibilities. Just think, you can do affiliate marketing through blogging, making videos, forum signatures, etc. The possibilities is endless if you want to know the truth.

One of those marketing strategies is through PPC. What has me so amped up and ready to do PPC is based off a conversation I had the other day. To say the least, I felt threatened by those three letters because my belief was that it would be nothing but consistent failure after failure. But here’s three reasons that changed my mind.

Reason 3: It’s Worth a Few Cents for a Click

When you start out with PPC, your going to lose money. It’s a natural fact and I don’t care what anyone says, PPC is a gamble in terms of figuring out a good strategy.

But don’t let that statement fool you, when beginning your PPC campaigns you’ll be in competition with many others in the field your targeting. Overcoming that obstacle requires raising your bidding prices slightly. Expect to pay anywhere from possibly $.10-$.20 (or more) depending on the keywords you target.

And for the sake of starting out, find a niche that you feel is valuable and target keywords that are highly searched but have little to no competition.

Reason 2: Creating a Landing Page Doesn’t Always Mean “Sales Letter”

Nobody wants to sit around writing a 5,000 word sales letter and this is what scared me when it came to PPC marketing. I always thought that when people said to use a “landing page” for PPC marketing, they were referring to a “sales letter.”

On the flip side, don’t let that burden be on your shoulders anymore. A landing page is simply (in my own definition) nothing more then a graphical page that outlines the benefits of the affiliate program your promoting. For example… take a look at this Blockbuster landing page and study it.

Reason 1: Landing Pages are An OPTION!

For the record, landing pages are not required. But don’t take my word for this, check with your advertiser and ask if “direct linking” is permitted.

Direct linking is simply sending the potential customers who click your PPC adcopy to the advertiser’s page directly. But as I said, check with the advertiser first as some don’t permit this form of advertising.

.10 to .20 cents…wow, I wish my PPC key word phrases were that price. The rate for the PPC phrases I tarket are between $3-$6/click…
